NetworkSolutions.com Review
visit provider
The information about this provider might not be entirely objective due to the problem with the access – the hosting bans our bot from the subnet 206.188.*.*. Keep that in mind while checking its performance data.
Network Solutions belongs to the Web.com company, and even their About page is empty, containing only a link to Web.com website. It was acquired in 2011, but its history dates back to 1979 – too astonishing a date to feature it on the main page; they started as a technology consulting company and gradually expanded the list of their services, which now includes domain registration, email hosting, websites, eCommerce, web hosting, SSL certificates, design, mobile services, and free logo design.
Network Solutions’ customer support page leads to Web.com knowledge base, and they have a lot of shared pages with their owner. We did not manage to find it in the terms of use available on the website, but third-party resources state there is an account cancellation fee, which makes up $34.99 for cancellation of a one-year package (for other packages, there are other fees) – quite an embarrassing thing if you do not know about it in advance. Since it is not clear whether the term remains valid, contacting their team prior to signing up could be a good idea. The feedback contains references to billing issues (Network Solutions’ charging policy is not that transparent), poor customer support, and other problems.
