They claim offering a cost-effective hosting for “running a personal blog or a small business” and they don’t seem to be in the industry for such a long time for nothing; after all not every company can boast having such a history these days.
Midphase is not a newbie in the industry, that’s for sure.
- Apart from hosting, they also offer a number of services that might be useful for any business presented online.
- And they will gladly transfer your website (for free) and give you a domain name (also for free).
- Well, we can’t call this exact hosting exactly cheap. Nor it is downright expensive.
However, their long-term plan monthly prices are pretty good (triennial offer, for instance), while their month-to-month plans might be less attractive. Still, they are really very good for moderate-income projects. Not really clear about money back guarantee, also. Which makes some points added and taken.

In our own experience, we have never had any issues with their tech support that hadn’t been resolved on short notice: their technical live chat support replies promptly.
Midphase even boasts their stuff being fluent in foreign languages. We haven’t checked this one, so, let’s take it for granted that it’s true.
There is no problem finding feedback about the company on the Internet, and it is pretty favorable; which is also not a bad sign, even if you don’t believe all these people leaving testimonials.

Midphase proved consistent while being cost-effective and, thus, it gained 8.2 HRank from us in 2018 and appeared #41 in our list. But it got only 107th position and 6.0 HRank.
Though, for the 6 months of monitoring in 2018, the company’s uptime was above 99%. Thus, they kept their promise “uptime will never drop below 99.9%”. But in 2019 it had some bad cases: two periods August-October and November-December were with just 99.00% uptime.
The provider’s response time became slower at the end of the year, however, it was mostly in the average range – around 600ms. Surely, they haven’t exactly been slow in the true sense of the word but compared to some other hostings, they are dependable but average.
The provider was gradually losing websites in 2018 and it repeated also in 2019 (and at the beginning of 2019 as well).
