Background

MDDHosting LLC was founded in 2007 by Michael Denney. The company is headquartered in Mooresville, Indiana, and their servers are located in the Handy networks data centers in Denver, Colorado.

They have a clear and user-friendly website is clear and easy-to-understand, and they also disclose everything about their policies and how they work.

Offers and Pricing

Currently, MDDHosting.com does not have any shared hosting plans on offer.

However, the provider offers other affordable hosting solutions.

Among the services are

  • Premium cloud and reseller hosting,
  • and VPS servers.

Besides, they provide domain registration, SSL certificates, SiteLock malware protection, etc.

Support and Other Features

On their website, you can find a standard set of features, like ticket system and phone support, but one of the things in which MDDHosting stands out from the pack is that they have a separate phone number for international customers, which makes it more convenient for users outside the US communicate with the support team.

The level of support and server stability, as well as abundance of positive reviews, make this privately owned company a good option.

Besides, one of the MDDHosting owners communicates with customers using third-party websites (in addition to their own customer support system) and answers to negative reviews in a way that deserves praise.

Another reason why MDDHosting looks reliable is that they clearly state who they are, when they were founded, where their data center is located, where one can find legal documents, etc.

  • MDDHosting got only 4.6 HRank in 2018. Its position on our 2018 list – 121. Well, we’ve seen better.
  • Interestingly enough, uptime of MDDHosting was very good in 2018, except for two cases of very bad downtime: 91,156% and 71.654% in September. This was enough to receive a low rating.
  • The response time of the provider wasn’t brilliant: in the range of 600ms – 800ms. Though, not absolutely unstable, yet, faster results were expected.
  • An interesting picture can be observed in the number of Shared IPs / number of sites chart. A very distinct decline in the number of Shared IPs can be seen in September 2018, after that it stayed the same till the end of the year. However, the number of domains was more or less stable with the exception of a very distinct peak in September 2018. Then again the numbers got almost back to the original.
  • Both alternations were clearly connected with the downtime period, however, many existing customers stayed despite downtime.
