Hostinger.com has been working since 2004 when it started with the idea to create a free hosting with no-limits PHP, MySQL, cPanel & no ads.
It all started in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 2004. Later in 2007 they launched 000webhost.com and in 2008 – Hosting24.com. Also, a new company was incorporation in Cyprus in 2012, and Indonesian local hosting brand Niagahoster.co.id – in 2013. And they also got ICANN accreditation in 2014.
Now it has 29 million users in 178 countries and none of them have yet got free services. However, you can still get a fairly cheap plan for minimum needs.

Hostinger’s uptime chart doesn’t look bad at first sight, in fact, it was pretty smooth. However, there were several cases of downtime as bad as ~69%, ~95% and ~96%. They affected the overall rank.
- Its response time got worse by the end of 2018: around 900ms (used to be ~500ms in summer).
- However, we could clearly see the increasing trend both in the number of Shared IPs and the number of domains in 2018. It looks like performance imperfections didn’t shun away any customers.
