Not entire monitoring period is cloudless. They are consistent and reliable, or so it appears. We’ve had projects hosted with them starting from 2014 and they have been pretty reliable so far. They promise 99.9% uptime and in case it “fails to meet it’s 99.9% uptime guarantee, and it is not due to one of the exceptions below, credits will be made available to each client, upon request, on a case by case basis”. Good to have such backup; however, make sure you read about this one carefully on their terms page.

In terms of response time, they are also quite ok – they can be freely referred to as a good average. Their response statistics shows only several peaks when they were slower than usual. The rest of time it’s ok. They do not have their own data centres and network infrastructure but rather use Equinix ones – and this does not seem to affect the result in any way.

Their longest monthly option can be characterized as a budget average – not the cheapest one but still pretty generous. In our experience, their hosting solutions are quite cost effective. HostForWeb offers a variation of support options available 24/7: tall-free phone number, live chat, email and a ticket system. We doubt that they are really able to respond to e-mails all day and night long; however, we can personally add that they we haven’t had any issues with them while our projects have been hosted on their servers.

Other Features

HostForWeb gives you the opportunity to try reseller, cloud, dedicated and vps hosting options, if you need them. They will also transfer your account from another hosting (for free) – great thing. We have never tried this option, thus, are unable to say how well it goes. The company is in the industry for ages, changed several design variations and now came with the most up-to-date and pretty-looking one.
