Contabo had many downtimes in the monitoring period, quite enough to spoil its performance rank for good.
The next thing that worsened it was slow response time that mostly stayed in 1,000ms – 1,300ms range. Slower responses were not rare, but not a rule.
Yet, what is interesting and very surprising is the fact that Contabo didn’t actually lose domains in the monitoring period. Quite the reverse: it increased its number of websites slightly. Bad performance didn’t seem to bother anyone.
Super unprofessional and fraudulent, violating GDPR asking for ID card when ID has already been verified by PayPal and payment made by PayPal!
Instead of setting up my VPS they are violating my right to privacy, asking documents they have no right to and delaying my work!
